Open Water Diver
This is the full certification for new divers — the most common Scuba diving course. After this, you’re certified to dive on your own (with a buddy) to ~18 meters anywhere in the world.
What you’ll do

Learn diving theory, safety procedures, and equipment basics

Confined water practice to master core skills like buoyancy, regulator recovery, mask clearing etc.
- Several open water dives (often 4) to use your skills up to ~18 meters depth
