TDI Extended Range
This course provides the training and experience required to be certified to competently teach air dives to 55 metres
staged decompression, utilizing nitrox mixtures or oxygen (O2) during decompression. The objective of this course is to train instructors in the proper techniques, equipment requirements, and hazards of deep air diving to a maximum of 55 metres and utilizing nitrox mixtures or oxygen for staged decompression.
Qualifications of Graduates
Upon successful completion of this course, graduates may teach technical diving activities utilizing
custom nitrox mixtures provided:
- The diving activities approximate those of training
- The areas of activities approximate those of training
- Environmental conditions approximate those of training

Prerequisites
TDI Advanced Nitrox or equivalent 100 logged dives Have a medical statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months
Suitable For
Divers who wish to expand their capabilities in technical diving, especially for deep dives beyond recreational limits using Nitrox or Trimix blends
